I had excision surgery the end of August. I went to a doctor in Texas who claimed to be an "amazing" endo specialist and has changed the lives of many women. I know everyone is different when it comes to recovery and what not, but that man did nothing for me. He claims he removed all of my endo, which was EVERYWHERE but in the process he cut a hole in my bladder which now I believe will cause me issues for the rest of my life. :( I had surgery November 11 to go in and try to repair the damage that was done. It helped a little, but not much.
Anyway, the two main reasons I had the excision surgery, only three short months after my laparoscopy here in Oklahoma was because I was pretty sure my doctor had no clue what he was doing when he burnt off my endo in May (which now I have realized that I have very bad luck in choosing doctors), but also because we were hoping it would increase our chances of getting pregnant. Well, it has now been 4 months since my surgery and NO LUCK. :( I am currently waiting to ovulate which for some reason, ovulation doesn't want to happen on time for me this month. I was hoping that everything would work out and I would be expecting AF on December 25. I had it all planned out. I already went to the store and bought little booties to wrap up with my pregnancy test and have Jeremy unwrap it Christmas morning. It would be the BEST christmas present ever. But now, since I haven't ovulated yet, AF is not due until December 27 and that is if I ovulate by tomorrow. Maybe New Years will be our special day we find out :) I can always give him a "late" christmas present.
Last week, December 5, 2014, our first niece Aubrey was born. She is absolutely adorable! She is definitely giving me baby fever but at least I can snuggle with her until God is ready to bring us our miracle baby.
